Joanna Track is Founder and Chief Strategist of Good Eggs & Co. Joanna the founder and executive publisher of The Bullet, and the co-founder of Newsworthy Co. Inc., which were both acquired by Arlene Dickinson in 2021.
Joanna is well known for her prior entrepreneurial pursuits, Sweetspot.ca and eLUXE, two of Canada’s most successful online platforms for women. Sweetspot.ca was the first of its kind in Canada and became the ultimate destination for women to stay in the know about trends and happenings in their city. In July 2006, Rogers Publishing recognized this success too and purchased a stake in the company, then acquired it wholly in 2010.
Before her leap into the world of startups, Joanna worked in the marketing departments of a variety of companies including The Loyalty Group and Club Monaco, later landing at Ogilvy & Mather, where she built a six-year career. At Ogilvy, Joanna worked on key global accounts, including Amex, FedEx and SAP, doing everything from Brand Advertising to Direct Marketing to Web.
In addition to building her businesses, Joanna shares her experience with entrepreneurship, branding and publishing through her weekly column and newsletter, Your Average Jo. Joanna also enjoys lending her expertise at numerous speaking and media engagements and has been an instructor of Digital Marketing at York University.
