Sophie is a Principal at Yaletown Partners, a venture capital fund manager that invests in the technologies digitally transforming traditional industries by prioritizing climate-resilient growth. In 2019, Sophie co-founded and is now a director of the Equality Fund, the world’s largest self-sustaining women’s fund.
Leveraging $300M from the Government of Canada, the Equality Fund will mobilize more than $1B through grants and gender-lens investing products to support the advancement of gender equity globally. She co-chairs the Diversity & Inclusion Committee at CVCA and, prior to joining Yaletown, was Managing Director of Somel Investments.
